Pros: My first train ride. I enjoyed the ride going through the different towns,and stations. I will travel again in the future but maybe not so far the next time. Cons: Bigger bathroom. Tips: Bring something along to occupy your time. Especially if you going along way. My trip was 16,17 hours plus.

Three of Amtrak’s long distance train lines end their service at Union Passenger Terminal: the City of New Orleans line from Chicago, the Crescent line from New York City, and the Sunset Limited line from Los Angeles to New Orleans. Buses operated by Greyhound and Jefferson Lines also serve this station, as well as public transit which connects to New Orleans’ famous streetcars.
