Amtrak Northeast Regional

Parking lot signs for Fredericksburg was pretty much nonexistent. Had to get information from a city worker to find the non handicap lot. All lots close to terminal are designated city or other businesses lots. Parking lot for terminal is a block and a half south of the terminal. Also no public restrooms at the terminal.

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Pros: This was my family’s first time using this type of transportation, so comparing is not really possible. The times we traveled were not busy and I liked that a lot. I wish we had this service closer to where we live. Cons: The expense hurt a bit. I’m sure those who use it on a regular basis know better ways of stretching those travel dollars.
