Concord Coach Lines

Pros: The Trip was comfortable and on time although I had some problems with my wi - fi internet and being able to access my boarding pass on the phone but this was a Peter Pan ticket transfer and not Concord the woman behind the counter was really very helpful in giving me receipts and a paper boarding pass the Concord drivers were professional and informative about the trip and destinations which always helps to know exactly where you are going . Cons: I'm not sure really you could improve it that much it was safe and reliable only at one point in Boston the digital read out of screen read new York when in fact we were first headed to Hartford for travel to other destinations but the driver clarified this I was headed to Northampton not new York but the number on the ticket and the read out on the sign coincided which made it more clear 5745 I believe thank you . Tips: Not really I was travelling alone but everyone was courteous and it was relatively quiet as suggested by the drivers my wi fi was only working part way but this could be my particular phone.

Although Bangor is best known as the setting for many of Stephen King's novels, there is far more to the town than just horror. With a vibrant art scene, multiple museums, galleries, and an annual sidewalk art festival, Bangor is a delightful destination for a weekend getaway. In the winter, Bangor is also one of the best destinations for a snowy vacation.

Bangor first grew its economy through the lumber and shipbuilding industries. The city's rich lumber history is evident on almost every street, as wealthy "lumber barons" built decadent brick and wood mansions throughout the city. You can learn more about the industry's impact on Bangor by visiting The Maine Forest and Logging Museum just outside town.

If you're a Stephen King fan, be sure to book a city tour of some of the locations featured in his novels and films, and learn about how the area inspired his work. You can also stroll past Stephen King's own house (don't bother him for autographs, it's a private residence!) and take a stroll through the neighborhood to admire many other magnificent houses.

Getting to Bangor is simple. Bangor International Airport is served by many major airlines and offers nonstop and connecting flights from various U.S. cities. Greyhound Lines and Concord Coach Lines also offer bus services to other Maine destinations and cities throughout New England. In addition, Amtrak Thruway buses connect Bangor to the nationwide rail network.

Boston

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the country, but it is kept young and fresh with the help of over 150,000 students who flock to the city’s prestigious universities every year. Beantown’s many sights and activities celebrate American history, prolific sports teams, and New England seafood. So let's spill the tea (into the harbor, if you will):

Boston's Freedom Trail is the best way to see the city on foot and visit some of the most iconic landmarks of the American Revolution: from Bunker Hill and the USS Constitution to the Old North Church and Faneuil Hall. The Freedom Trail officially begins in Boston Common, the oldest public park in the U.S. and a beautiful spot for walking, picnicking, or ice skating in the winter. Foodies will love tasting the Italian cuisine in the North End and the modern eateries of South End, while sports fans can tour Fenway Park, and art lovers can explore the expansive Museum of Fine Arts.

From Boston, travelers can easily get to the beachy summer destination of Cape Cod, or surrounding states like New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island. With four main train stations and several bus stops in the city, as well as Boston Logan Airport (which, by the way, has some excellent airport food), Boston is a central hub for travel throughout New England and beyond.
