OurBus

Pros: The bus driver went above and beyond to help us out. Such a friendly guy that knew what he was doing. He had to fix our bus on the side of the road in the pitch black night. He stayed calm and collected the whole time. Got the bus running again and made up lost time getting us to our destination. I loved the wifi as well. Great signal that didn't cut out. Cons: There were a few delays for the bus leaving. It was scheduled to leave at 4:30 PM but due to traffic/other problems it left at 6:45. I was only notified of this hours before departure. One text came in claiming there will be a two hour delay. Then I received a text claiming there will be a 15 minute delay. I sent a request in to confirm the actual departure time since the "bus tracker" still showed the original 4:30 time. I received no response. On our drive north the bus broke down on the side of the road. It took 40 or so minutes for our amazing bus driver to fix the problem himself. Tips: No tips for other travelers. Just improve communication on what is currently happening with the bus schedule. The driver of the bus was extremely professional and helpful.

Greyhound

Pros: I liked that the trip was very cheap and that there are outlets for charging electronics on the bus. The bus was also nice and quiet unless you were sitting near the back. There was also a restaurant at the station I transferred at. Cons: There was no working outlet in the row I was sitting in for my first ride. During my transfer at the station, my phone charger wouldn't stay inside of the wall outlets (it would keep falling out immediately), which was pretty annoying. The floors and bathrooms in the bus station were also pretty dirty. One of the buses was also a bit smelly and the bus WiFi quality was so poor that it was practically unusable. Tips: Test the outlet in your row of the bus before sitting down.
