Pros: the driver got us a break midway at a rest stop for bathroom and food. I had my seat with an empty seat next to me. Cons: the cleanliness can improve and the smell. The bus smelled poorly.

Pros: Traffic is expected and the driver was exceptional, courteous. Tips: learn parking details and drop off locations learn landmarks arrival times and arrive early. plan other reservations to events 30 minutes later due to traffic sometimes.

FlixBus US Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, no worries! You can cancel your Flix ticket up to 15 minutes before departure and get a refund as a voucher. The amount you get back depends on when you cancel:

Less than 2 days before: 25% refund 2 to 6 days before: 50% refund 7 to 29 days before: 75% refund 30 days or more before: 100% refund

Extras like seat reservations and extra baggage get a full refund, but booking and service fees aren’t refundable. To quickly and easily cancel your trip online, go to FlixBus’ website to look up your reservation, and you will have the option of changing passenger information or cancelling your ticket.

Wanderu also offers an affordable trip protection option by Allianz Global Assistance that you can purchase when booking your tickets. In addition to 24-hour assistance during your trip and other benefits, trip protection can help you get your money back in case you need to cancel or change your FlixBus booking. You may file a claim to be reimbursed if you do not travel on your bus trip due to covered reasons such as extreme weather, illness, or required work shifts.

FlixBus US Baggage Policy

Carry On Bags: You can bring one bag up to 25 lbs (or 11 kg) on to the bus with you with dimensions of up to 16 x 12 x 7 inches (or 40 x 30 x 18 cm). The bag must be able to fit into the overhead bin or fully under the seat in front of you.

Checked Baggage: You are allowed to bring one bag that will be placed under the bus for the duration of your trip. Each bag needs to weigh no more than 50 lbs (or 23 kg), with dimensions of up to 31 x 20 x 12 inches (or 79 x 51 x 30 cm). You are also allowed to bring one additional checked bag for a fee of $9.99. You can add the additional bag to your booking during checkout.

Keep in mind that there is limited space on the bus, so if you are planning to bring an extra checked bag, make sure you book your trip as early as possible.

FlixBus US provides accessible transportation to passengers with disabilities or limited mobility. ADA-recognized service animals and mobility devices like wheelchairs can be transported free of charge for ticketed passengers with disabilities.
